Driving with permit with adult outcomes?

i when through a license check when i was driving by myself with my permit without a adult. and the cops gave me a court date to go to but on the court date he had spelled my name wrong and got my race wrong. i was wondering does that effect anything and i would like to know the outcome to drving with a permit without a adult. I live in North Carolina and im 17.

With wrong name and race on citation tell them they got the wrong guy. Must have been the day that youre car was borrowed by...Darn I forgot who borrowed it that day.

A typo doesnt get you out of this. Sorry its not that easy. They can amend the report to make sure that your name and race are correct and when they put out a warrant for your arrest for failing to report to court theyll make sure your name is spelled right on that as well.

No it does not excuse you from appearing in court. Show upor a bench warrant may be issued as well as other factors.
You know you were driving illegallyI hope they do not permit you to obtain a proper drivers license. If you can not show you are mature enough to follow the laws which are in place before you receive a permanent licensewhy should you be granted your drivers license?
Driving is a privilege not to be taken lightly.
